Ford 302 Modular Design

• (Not to be confused with the 302 modular motor)

The modular design of this oil pan allows the oil pump to be mounted in various positions along with a variety of oil pump configurations, including conventionally mounted pumps plumbed to dash 12 fittings on the pan. This is accomplished with a 3 piece design where the base pan has a manifold assembled. These manifolds are interchangeable, which allows the pump to be installed in various positions compared to our specifically designed one-piece pans.

The pan shown here is designed for the Lucas Oil and TORC Off Road Racing Series Pro Lite truck division. This 4-stage dry sump oil pump is tucked in tight to the driver’s side of the oil pan.
