This dry sump oil system was designed for installation into a production vehicle with left-hand drive and within the constraints of the production motor mount. It will install on an LS wet sump or LS7 dry sump engine using an LS2/LS3 front cover and OEM pan gasket. It utilizes a 3 stage dry sump oil pump integrated onto the oil pan and removes the problems due to the stock internal gerotor oil pump. Similar in design to our proven Daytona Prototype racing designs but is toned down to fit within the packaging constraints of the production installation.
This system has been approved by NASCAR for use on their LS spec engine and will be available from Robert Yates Racing Engines.
Note
OEM A/C compressor will need to be relocated or removed.
To install on an LS7 OEM dry sump engine the front cover and timing set will need to be converted to the LS2/LS3 wet sump style.
